KMIDS

King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology Ladkrabang International Demonstration School (KMIDS) was conceived and developed under the auspices of King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology Ladkrabang (KMITL) — a university renown for technological innovations and advancements.

Continuing in this spirit of innovation, KMIDS offers Thailand its first STEM-focused international school. Our school features a student-centered curriculum that promotes interdisciplinary learning, higher-level thinking skills, and creative solutions to real-world problems. Furthermore, KMIDS’ affiliation with KMITL affords our high school students the privilege of learning in undergraduate courses instructed by experienced KMITL lecturers. In these “Pathway” courses, students have not only the opportunity to gain hands-on, real-life university experience at a variety of KMITL faculties but also to earn college credit and early admissions into KMITL. Along with the KMITL Pathway program, KMIDS also offers AP courses to our high school students.

These two programs coupled with a standards-based, challenging middle and high school curriculum ensure that our graduates are well-equipped with 21st Century skills and well-prepared for pursuing degrees at leading universities in Thailand and abroad.
